Hotels in Santa Marta & Barranquilla & Valledupar

Below we have selected some hotels in Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Valledupar that we recommend. We made a distinction between the following categories; standard, comfortable and luxurious. If you can´t find your preferred hotel contact us, on request we can book any hotel in Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Valledupar.

Santa Marta

Park Hotel *

Old but good hotel at  the boulevard in the old part of  Santa Marta. the hotel is located at the beach and has a small pool. Next to bars and restaurants on the boulevard. Rooms are with ventilator or airco.

Hotel Tayromar *

Reasonable hotel in the old city of Santa Marta only one block of the beach. Rooms have airco and double beds. It is not possible to ad an extra bed in the room.

Hotel La Casa **

This Boutique hotel with only 3 rooms in the historical center of Santa Marta has a homely atmosphere with eye for detail. This hotel is the perfect place to spend time in the oldest city of Colombia.

Casa del Farol***

A boutique type hotel with all comforts and luxury that goes with such a hotel. Beautiful roof terrace with swimming pool. The hotel is located in the old center of Santa Marta and has 7 rooms with different themes from several big cities in world.

Hotel La Sierra **

Comfortable hotel on Rodadero, (10 minutes from Santa Marta) with good service directly located at the beach. The ideal place for een sun, sea and beach vacation.

Zuana Beach Resort ***

Luxurious resort outside of Santa Marta on the way to the airport. The resort has his own beach and swimming pool. There are very spacious rooms, ideal for families. In combination with national flights the hotel has good prices.

Tayronaka **

Comfortable huts with great vieuw on the Don Diego river. Close to the huts you can find old Indian terraces, a small museum and there is a reproduction of a Tairona house.

Tayrona - Ecohabs ***

Luxurious cabañas in the Cañaveral sector. The cabañas have a capacity of 1 to 4 people and look out over the sea. The cabañas are very comfortable and have everything you need. There is also a good restaurant on the premises.

Tayrona - Cabañas **

Comfortable cabañas in the nature park Tayrona. The cabañas have 2 floors and have a capacity of 1 to 5 people. The cabañas are located in the sector Arrecifes on a 45 minutes walk from the entrance.

Barranquilla

Hotel Genova *

Good hotel and in the center of Barranquilla. Comfortable and spacious rooms with airco and minibar. Hotel has a swimming pool. Due to its location it is better to take taxi´s at night.

Hotel el Prado **

Luxurious hotel in the modern neighborhood El Prado. The hotel is geclassified as a 5 star hotel and has all sorts of facilities and services to offer. The hotel has a great swimming pool and is very popular during Carnaval de Barranquilla.

Valledupar

Fine hotel in the center of Valledupar. the hotel has a swimming pool and very comfortable rooms. Due to its central location ideal to get to know Valledupar and its surroundings.

Provincia Hostal*

Hotel type hostal in the center of Valledupar. Many communal space, hammocks and a very good information service including the area aeound Valledupar. Perfect for people that want to see more than only the city Valledupar.
